The Toposa tribe shares cultural ties with the Nyangatoum of Ethiopia, the Turkana of Kenya, and the Karamojong of Uganda. Their way of life revolves around cattle keeping, hunting, subsistence farming, and more recently, gold mining.

If time permits, we can explore the nearby villages or embark on a scenic walk to the oxbow lake within the Kuron forest. Upon arriving in Morua village, we'll be warmly welcomed by the Morule people. This village offers a glimpse into a traditional way of life, untouched by the modern world. We'll interact with the villagers, learning about their customs, traditions, and daily routines.

As the first tourists to visit the village, the Morule people may initially be hesitant to pose for photographs. However, our experienced guides will help bridge the cultural gap and ensure a memorable experience.

The Morule tribe has deep historical roots, believed to have originated from southern Ethiopia. They share a common language with the Surma people of Ethiopia and their fellow South Sudanese tribes, the Didinga, Larim/Buya, and Tenet.

Upon arriving in Kapoeta around 5-6 PM, we'll check into Kuleo Hotel and relax after our day of travel.
